Welsh Rabbit (From the Brown Derby)

Combine thoroughly in a medium sauce pan:
1 1/2 Cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1/2 TSP Cornstarch (Be exact here or your cheese may come out too thick)
1/2 TSP Dry Mustard
1 1/2 TSP Worcestershire Sauce
Stir in:
1/3 to 1/2 Cup Beer (More will yield a thinner sauce and cover more bread)
Welt over medium high heat until completely melted and beautiful. Spoon over toasted bread.
Additions/Variations:
Top with Bacon and sliced raw tomato for a classic
Blushing Bunny: add 1/2 can condensed tomato soup to melted cheese
Golden Buck: Top with a fried or poached egg
