My passion is cooking and exploring the history of American dishes from the 1930s – 1980s. I do this on my YouTube channel, YesterKitchen. Since the beginning, my audience has started to share their childhood memories of the dishes I present. I have heard so many beautiful stories and was inspired to write a book going back in time, to childhoods from all walks of life, telling the stories about the one dish that brings people back to their childhood.
