Notes

Here’s your recipe!

2 oz (1 Shot) Bourbon, Brandy or Blended Whiskey 1 Sugar Cube (or 1 TSP) 1 Lemon Peel 5 Drops Peychaud Bitters 1/4 Oz Absinthe (1 1/2 Tsp) Fill one glass with ice and set aside to chill. In another glass, place the sugar cube and add the bitters to it. Crush to blend in the sugar. Add the bourbon and mix well. Pour out the ice from the chilled glass and pour in the absinthe. Swirl all around the glass so the entire glass is coated with the absinthe. Pour out the remaining absinthe. Pour the bourbon mixture into the absinthe glass and twist the lemon peel over and add to the glass.
