1 Cup White Rice (Raw) 1/2 Stick Butter (1/4 Cup) 1 Pkg Onion Soup Mix 1 Can Consomme or Bouillon 1 Soup Can Water Set oven to 350. Brown rice in butter until it is the color of a nice camel hair coat (exact recipe words, don't you love food history?). Add soups and water. Pour into a buttered casserole and bake 45 - 60 minutes until done.
